Main interests in painting: Movement and light. Between 2015 – 2020 I regularly painted pupils in a ballet school during lessons. How can one capture the body, its space and mobility in two dimensions – without losing the atmosphere, the tension and beauty. Create “living pictures”.
As an artist, I follow the “purity law” as in brewing beer. I capture the movements with brush and ink on paper and then use these drawings to inspire oil paintings. The categories of “Aesthetics in Art” by Immanuel Kant support me.
